Please note: This is an unofficial photo page for the Gateway 4WD group.

I have only gone on the 4WD trips as a passenger, as I don't have a 4WD myself. I went on trips from the start of the group in late 2005 through to early 2011. Since then, some of those in the group have not had as much spare time for trips and so the number of trips has dropped off to perhaps one or two per year.
AFAIK, the group stopped running trips around 2014.

As Gateway 4WD is not limited to a particular make or model of 4WD, there have been a variety of vehicles attending on past trips. These have included:

Eating out
Stopping by a country bakery or cafe is always a good idea for morning tea/lunch when out 4WD'ing or on a (2WD) road-trip holiday. Likewise, a country pub is often a good place to get a dinner. Here are some of those good bakeries/cafes I've been to while on such trips:
