The following railway maps are of a historical nature, being of
'proposed-but-never-built' railways in Melbourne.
1954 MMBW planning report
I found this report at work, and the maps were interesting as they
showed 5 proposed lines.

1: The proposed Frankston to Mornington (direct) line is shown.

2: The proposed Darebin Creek line is shown.
- Plan
3: The proposed Beaumaris line is shown.
- Plan
4: The proposed Fishermans Bend and Sunshine to Laverton lines are
shown. Note - this file is 600 kB in size. Interestingly, I have
another map from the 1920's showing this line.
1915 Melbourne Harbour Trust
Commissioners plan
This shows a impressive amount of proposed development at Fishermans
Bend from the time, I guess of course WW1 saw that these plans never
went ahead.
